The Q&A Club is a hangout space for queer and allied middle and high school students to come together in creative community. Join us for an open studio and crafts in a relaxed environment. You can expect button-making, patch-making, beaded bracelets, snacks and more! Come share and learn new artsy skills in a casual setting!

No registration required.

Next sessions: April 24

The group is facilitated by Alison Fox. Alison is a teaching artist and therapist. Her practice with others consistently focuses on the process and development of the individual through encounters with play and art-making. Her classes and sessions invite in the uniqueness of each participant and are geared towards noticing strengths, increasing self-esteem, and building resilience.

For over two decades, Alison has made art with various populations including children and young adults in school settings and in mental health settings. She is now part of the therapeutic team at Giving Tree Counseling Community.

She holds an MFA from Hunter College in Painting and is currently pursuing her master’s in art therapy.
