In July, we often think about the struggle for independence as we celebrate the birth of America. This month, we’re taking that idea globally. Each week we’ll read a piece that discusses other nations’ independence movements, both past and present, all while enjoying a meal graciously provided by People’s Place.   

Pick up a packet ahead of time at either location or read it while we grab lunch. 

Stop at the Café first (777 Broadway) to pick up your meal and then we’ll head to the Wellness & Empowerment Center next door (775 Broadway).
