Documentary Screening: The Work

Discover a Transformative Experience

Join us and members of the Ulster County Trauma‑Informed Care Collaborative for a unique documentary screening of The Work — a raw, powerful journey into vulnerability, connection and healing.

Set inside Folsom State Prison, this acclaimed film follows three ordinary men from outside prison walls who commit to a four-day retreat alongside incarcerated men in a maximum-security setting. Together, they do more than talk — they dig deep, confront fear, support one another, and invite change.

After the screening, stay with us for a panel discussion where we’ll explore the themes of trauma, redemption, and what genuine rehabilitation looks like in practice — led by folks who both facilitate and live this work.

And because meaningful conversations need comfortable surroundings: pizza will be provided by Catskill Mountain Pizza.

We hope you’ll join us for an evening of film, reflection, and community. No registration needed.
