Collage Landscape: Inspired by the Hudson River School of Art

Saturday, March 26 • 10:30am - 12:30pm

For elementary school aged children.
We live in one of the most beautiful areas – the Hudson Valley – and many years ago there were famous artists that did paintings of the beauty of this area. We will look at some of their paintings and explore other images of the area.  If you like, bring your favorite photo that you or your adults have taken of the Valley!
We will then create our own collage landscapes, inspired by images and the Hudson River School of Art, paintings by Fredrick Church and Thomas Cole, with special papers and glue. Fun and easy.
Registration is required, here or call 845.331.0507 ext. 7.
