Come to this two-part art workshop and construct a decorative clay nicho frame designed for a favorite book with Artist Jill Obrig.

For ages 9 -12.  Attendance is limited. Must attend both sessions.

In Part 2 on August 3 you will paint, decorate, and complete your nicho.

* Nichos (singular: “nicho”, meaning “niche”) are a type of folk art popular throughout Central and South America, often devotional but sometimes merely quirky. Resembling dioramas, they are made from common household objects and craft materials and traditionally combine elements from spirituality and popular culture.
