Looking for a brilliant way to spark your 9-to-14-year-old’s imagination and social side?

Kingston Library has partnered with the narrative experts at Wayfinder Adventures for an interactive, group-storytelling workshop where your child helps build a fantasy world from scratch! If they love creative writing, tabletop games, or just massive world-building, this is their arena.

🌟 What Your Storyteller Will Experience:

• Forge a Unique Character: Guided by expert prompts, they’ll unearth and design a hero completely their own.

• Cooperative World-Building: Working side-by-side with peers, they will weave their characters into a brand-new, shared fantasy realm where every choice matters.

• A New Perspective: An engaging opportunity to see the library—and their own creative potential—in a totally fresh, dynamic light.

• Keep the Magic Alive at Home: Every writer leaves with an optional take-home story challenge. When they bring it back to the library, they can cash it in for exclusive loot (temporary tattoos, stickers, and more!).
