Finding North is a one-man play drawn from historical research and oral histories that brings to the stage powerful stories of the yearning, sacrifices, and dreams of the African-American Underground Railroad hero John P. Parker, as well as those of contemporary American immigrants.
Playwright David Gonzalez will be at the library to talk about how the project came to be.
You can see Finding North for FREE at the Old Dutch Church on Friday, November 4 at 7pm.
This event is part of the special programming celebrating the visiting Journey to Freedom Harriet Tubman Statue. Find the complete list of events here.
