Adults Teens,

Seeing Nature – Outdoor Photography with CPW

Saturday, December 10 • 1pm

Did you know that Harriet Tubman was a skilled naturalist?  Using the subtle signs of nature, self-liberators and Underground Railroad conductors like her knew how to move north to freedom while steering clear of roads and towns.

Learn to take a closer look at nature with help from CPW (formerly the Center for Photography Woodstock).  We’ll also learn about some of the skills Tubman used to find her way north.

No photography experience or camera equipment needed – bring your cell phone camera!  This program is open to teens and adults and is for anyone who wants to practice really looking at nature.

** This program is at Kingston Point.  Meet at the bridge on the rail trail.  Map here.**

No registration, dress warmly, and be prepared for some walking.

This special program is in conjunction with the visiting Harriet Tubman Statue.  See all the programs here.
