Origami Foldfest – Making Keepsake Boxes with Anita Barbour

Saturday, May 7 • 10:30am – 1pm

Join us to explore the Japanese art of paper folding. Make a colorful origami box as a keepsake or as a gift for someone special.

Anita Barbour, who has been designing origami for more than 40 years, is the author of Easy Origami Ornaments: A Step-by-Step Guide.

Origami is the Japanese name for the ancient art of paper folding. Sheets of paper, usually squares, are folded – no cuts, no glue – to create animals, geometric shapes, or whatever captures the designer’s imagination.
