Every year the Clean Sweep inspires hundreds of Kingstonians of all ages to pick up nearly four tons of litter in neighborhoods throughout the city. The Friends of Kingston Library are one of many business, service and civic organizations, schools, churches and individual volunteers coming together in the spirit of environmental stewardship doing our part to beautify our city.

Volunteers are invited to join FOKL leadership between 9am and noon to work on projects around the library grounds including litter pickup, repainting our sidewalk obstacle course, and planting the demonstration garden for our seed library among other projects.

Trash bags, tools, supplies, and plastic gloves will be provided.
