Adults Teens,

Women’s Issues in “The House on Mango Street”

Thursday, March 24 • 6:30pm

As we gear up for the Big Read in April – a month long look at Sandra Cisneros’ classic The House on Mango Street – join us for a discussion focusing on feminist themes found throughout the novel.

Dr. Jessica N. Pabón-Colón, Associate Professor of Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at SUNY New Paltz will join us for what promises to be an interesting conversation for Women’s History Month.

Pick up a FREE copy of the book at the library! No need  to register.

This is a Big Read event.  See all of our special programming here.

NEA Big Read is a program of the National Endowment for the Arts in partnership with Arts Midwest.
