Established 1899
Allyson Levy, co-founder of Hortus Arboretum and Botanical Gardens in Stone Ridge, will teach us how to grow tasty plants from around the region. In addition to a delicious bounty for us humans, native plants attract local pollinators, serve as food and shelter for native wildlife, and are lower maintenance!
We won’t just be learning how to grow these plants, we’ll also be tasting them!
Allyson will also have copies of her new book for sale: Cold-Hardy Fruits and Nuts : 50 Easy-To-Grow Plants for the Organic Home Garden or Landscape.
No registration required – join us in the Community Room.
