Banned Graphic Novel Book Club

Monday, July 25 • 4:00 pm

All around the country, books for teens are being banned for all sorts of reasons. Libraries believe book banning is a form of censorship, and we invite everyone to make choices for themselves but not for others. Over the summer, every other week we’ll be reading a different graphic novel that has been banned, and listen to each other’s opinions about the book.

July 25 – SideScrollers by Matthew Loux

August 8 – Persepolis by Marjane Satrapi

August 22 – Maus by Art Spiegelman

Ages 13-18. No Need to Register, but let us know if you want us to request a book for you.
