Niche Academy: An online learning platform that provides tutorials that teach people how to use library e-Resources like eBooks, research databases, and language learning tools. Library patrons have access to more than 20 tutorials through the Ulster County Library Association and Niche Academy. You can find Niche Academy by visiting the Ulster County Library Association Info Portal and clicking on the “Tutorials” button at the bottom, and scrolling through the slideshow to find the tutorial you’re looking for. JobNow also provides lifelong learning resources for those looking to brush up on their academic skills. Fold3 by Ancestry and ProQuest: Convenient access to U.S. military records, including the stories, photos and documents of the men and women who served. AncestryLibrary: Users can search historical and genealogical records, stories, publications, photos, and maps to learn more about their ancestors and family members. Please note that remote access to AncestryLibrary has been temporarily expanded to Kingston Library and other Mid-Hudson Library System cardholders, courtesy of ProQuest and its partner Ancestry.
