The Adult Summer Reading Program at the Kingston Library is open to those 18 years and older. The goal of the program is to provide entertaining and engaging activities to keep adults connected, learning, and reading over the summer.

The 2021 Adult Summer Reading Program at the Kingston Library will be held online this year due to the coronavirus pandemic. The program takes place in July and August.

We will be using READSquared, an online reading program system, to coordinate our events and allow you to complete missions and keep track of your reading. Visit our site at to sign up.

July 30: Reuse it with Paper Recycled Crafts – Online Video 

Did you do some decluttering during the quarantine? Do you have old magazines, books, or other papers that you don’t know what to do with? We have a project for you! We will be creating picture frames and other items using glue and rolled up paper.  We will have supply packs and printed out instructions available at the library if you don’t have supplies or want to do this project on your own. When you register, please choose a date the corresponds with our Curbside Pickup times.  The video will be up for you to visit at anytime. If you would like to submit your finished product to be featured on our website and/or social media, please send an image to Kristin at
