The Kingston Library building is not currently open to the public, but we are scheduling computer use appointments for library users age 14 and older beginning Monday, Aug. 10.

Please note that these one-hour appointments are for computer use ONLY. Patrons may not browse for materials during this time. We are excited to offer this service to our patrons.


Our current Computer Use Appointment schedule is as follows:

  • Mondays, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
  • Wednesdays, 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
  • Fridays, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.
  • MOST Saturdays, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.


  • These appointments are for computer use only
  • The appointments are for one (1) hour and time cannot be extended
  • Patrons will not be permitted to browse the collection or check out materials
  • Checking out items can be done through our Curbside Pickup system
  • Patrons must have and bring their library card. Visitor passes will not be issued
  • Appropriate face coverings over nose and mouth must be worn for the entire time a patron is in the library building
  • Patrons must use hand sanitizer prior to and following computer use
  • Patrons may not bring additional people to your appointment; extra people will not be permitted to wait in the lobby
  • Patrons must provide all your own supplies, for example, pen, paper, ear buds
  • Patrons may only make an appointment once a week, in order to allow others to utilize this service

Procedure for Scheduling an Appointment 

STEP 1: Schedule an appointment by calling us here at the library at (845) 331-0507, or by using the myLIBRO app available on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.



STEP 2: Select a day and time you would like to come in and use the computers. Select your day and time using the myLIBRO app, or by giving us a call at the library and setting up a time slot.

STEP 3: When your time slot rolls around, let us know that you have arrived at the library by calling the Circulation Desk at 845-331-0507 or indicate that you are here through the myLIBRO app.

STEP 4: When instructed, enter the lobby. You must wear a mask while in the library building, as per a New York State Executive Order requiring masks be worn in public in places where social distancing cannot be maintained. A dedicated staff member will be available to answer questions and assist you.
