What do I need on my computer to play audiobooks?

Any computer running Windows with Windows Media Player 9 Series or above will work with audiobooks.

I have a Mac. Will it work with audiobooks?

No, Kingston Library audiobooks do not currently work with Mac OS, nor do they work with iPods. However, if you own an Intel Mac with Windows installed, you can play your audiobooks in Windows on your Mac.

I have a portable audio player. How do I know if it will work?

Any player that has the "PlaysForSure" or "Certified for Windows Vista" logo on it is certified to work with audiobooks. Still unsure if your player's compatible? Here's a partial list of compatible players:

I don't see iPods listed. Will those work?

No, iPods do not currently work with Kingston Library audiobooks. We're sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

How much space do I need to store audiobooks on my computer or MP3 player?

The amount of space needed varies, but 256 MB will hold roughly one eight hour audiobook.
